As an English-medium institution, our school is deeply committed to aligning its curriculum with the National Curriculum Framework (NCF), ensuring a comprehensive and globally relevant educational experience. The NCF serves as the guiding philosophy for our instructional design, emphasizing the holistic development of students through a learner-centric approach.
We proudly incorporate the five essential elements of the NCF, namely a focus on the learner, knowledge, curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment, to create a well-rounded educational environment. In tandem with our dedication to the NCF, our school enthusiastically embraces the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020’s transformative 5+3+3+4 structure.
In the Foundational phase, (Playgroup to Class 2), we embrace a dynamic educational approach centered on play-based learning, foundational literacy, and numeracy, along with age-appropriate curricula. Play-based learning is woven into our classrooms through diverse activities, fostering holistic development and intrinsic motivation. We prioritize foundational literacy by utilizing phonics, storytelling, and creating literacy-rich environments, while our emphasis on foundational numeracy involves hands-on math activities and problem-solving exercises. Our age-appropriate curricula are designed to align with developmental milestones, providing flexible and adaptable learning paths for each child. We believe in the power of collaboration with educators, ensuring ongoing professional development and the exchange of best practices. This integrated approach aims to create a stimulating and personalized learning environment, laying the groundwork for academic success and nurturing a lifelong passion for learning among our students.
At the preparatory level (Classes III to V), the classes are thoughtfully structured in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP). The comprehensive curriculum encompasses Hindi, English, Mathematics, Science, General Knowledge, and Computer Science as core subjects, along with additional subjects such as Music, Arts and Craft, Games, and Value Education. In this phase, the educational focus transcends mere academic achievement, emphasizing experiential learning and the cultivation of essential skills in each subject. The inclusion of Value Education underscores the importance of instilling core values as the foundation of a child’s character and being. This holistic approach recognizes and caters to the unique needs of each student, nurturing individual strengths and interests. By prioritizing values alongside academic skills, the curriculum aims to contribute to the overall development of students, in line with the NEP’s vision for a learner-centric and experiential education system.
