Learning Moral Values through the World of Ants

The Indian Cambridge School, one of the best girls boarding schools in Dehradun, staged a captivating English dramatics performance on October 16, 2024, where students from Grades 2 to 5 took part and beautifully brought to life the virtues of teamwork and leadership through the humble, yet extraordinary, world of ants. Through the energetic and well-coordinated efforts of our talented young students, the performance conveyed a powerful message—collective effort and strategic guidance can overcome even the greatest challenges.

The students effortlessly portrayed how ants communicate, cooperate, and work together to build their societies and gather resources. Their synchronized movements and engaging performances highlighted the importance of mutual respect, collaboration, and empowering one another to achieve success. The audience was thoroughly enthralled, leaving with a renewed sense of the strength that comes from unity and collaboration. This performance was not only a testament to the students’ talent but also a reflection of the school’s dedication to fostering leadership and teamwork in every aspect of education.

Animal Party Fiesta at The ICS

On October 9, 2024, The Indian Cambridge School transformed into a colorful wildlife paradise as students celebrated the much-anticipated Animal Fiesta! The event showcased a brilliant display of wild, aquatic, and domestic animals, sparking excitement and wonder among the children. A creative photo booth with animal-themed props offered students a chance to snap some fun, memorable shots.

Picnic Excursion to the Science City

On October 19th, students from Grades 2 to 5 at The Indian Cambridge School had the opportunity to explore the wonders of Science City in Jhajra, Dehradun! The excitement was palpable as they delved into hands-on exhibits designed to ignite their curiosity and enhance their scientific understanding. The students experimented with light, sound, and motion, marveled at dinosaur fossils and prehistoric artifacts, and were captivated by planetarium shows showcasing celestial wonders. They also learned about renewable energy and sustainability, gaining insights into important environmental issues.

Filled with inspiration and enthusiasm, our young scientists returned to school eager to share their discoveries and newfound knowledge with their friends. This excursion reflects The Indian Cambridge School’s commitment to providing enriching learning experiences that extend beyond the classroom!
