Republic Day

India is one of the biggest democratic republic countries in the world.That’s the reason Republic day is celebrated with great honour to the constitution of India as it came into force on the same day in the year 1950.

This year The India Cambridge school celebrated the 68th Republic day with great display of strength and vivid culture of India.

The programme began with the unfurling of the National Flag by our Patron The Chief Guest for the event was the Patron of the school, a philanthropist and an eminent personality, Dr. S.Farooq. The distinguished guests, The Director Syed Mohammed Yasar, The Principal Mrs. Rachna Srivastava graced the occasion. Followed by the singing of the National Anthem.

The function carried on with the speeches delivered by the school captain Shikhar Negi. The celebration was made melodious by the choir singing “Mere Desh Ke Dharte” and Yeh Desh Hai Veer Jawano Ka”.

The programme was meaningful and thought provoking with the words of wisdom of school Patron Dr. S.Farooq. He enlightened the students and his inspirational speech left everyone filled with patriotic fervor.

The celebration concluded with The Principal, proposing the vote of thanks , she appreciated the students for their sincere efforts .

As a customary, sweets were distributed among the students and the staff…
