Rakhi Making Activity at The ICS

The Indian Cambridge School, best girls boarding school in Dehradun, was buzzing with creativity and excitement as students from grades 1-5 participated in the Rakhi Making competition. This event provided a fantastic opportunity for them to showcase their artistic talents while celebrating the spirit of Raksha Bandhan.

Students crafted beautiful and unique rakhis using materials like threads, beads, and colors, promoting teamwork, fine motor skills, and cultural awareness. They had a wonderful time expressing their creativity and bonding with their peers. The Rakhi Making competition was a fun and enriching experience for everyone involved, perfectly capturing the essence of the festival and the talents of The ICS students.

दिनांक 16 अगस्त 2024 को इंडियन कैंब्रिज स्कूल, the best girls boarding school in Dehradun, में कक्षा 1 से 5 की छात्राओं के लिए हिंदी की अध्यापिकाओं द्वारा संज्ञा पर एक विशेष गतिविधि का आयोजन किया गया।

Shopping Activity at The ICS

Recently, our enthusiastic foundation class students had the chance to dive into this experience during a school-based market setup featuring vegetables, fruits, toys, and stationery. As they explored this simulated market, these young learners took on the roles of customers, navigating the exciting world of shopping.

Through hands-on participation, they learned the value of money, the convenience of using cards, and the joy of making thoughtful choices. Their excitement as they selected items and managed transactions was a testament to the power of experiential learning. These activities not only sharpened their numerical skills but also helped them build confidence and independence—valuable skills that will serve them well in the future.
