Sandwich Making Activity at The ICS

On September 7, 2024, the foundation classes at The Indian Cambridge School, best girls boarding school in Dehradun, indulged in a delightful sandwich making activity, unleashing their culinary creativity and skills. The young chefs-in-the-making used an assortment of ingredients, including mayonnaise, cheese slices, bread, tomato, cucumber, pepper, salt, and sauce to craft their own mouth-watering sandwiches.

The activity aimed to foster fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and creativity while introducing the concept of healthy eating and nutrition. The students relished the hands-on experience, experimenting with different combinations of ingredients and presentation styles.

The end result was a colorful and appetizing array of sandwiches, showcasing the imagination and talent of the young participants. The activity concluded with a happy and contented group of students, eagerly looking forward to their next culinary adventure!

Storytelling Competition at The ICS

On August 24, The Indian Cambridge School, best girls boarding school in Dehradun, hosted an exciting Storytelling Competition, where students from grades 1 to 5 wowed everyone with their creative talents. The event provided a wonderful platform for young minds to showcase their imagination while building confidence and public speaking skills.

The competition was a huge success, celebrating the creativity and self-expression of our budding storytellers. Congratulations to all the participants for their fantastic performances and inspiring future literary stars! 

Oobleck Making Activity at The ICS

On September 3rd, 2024, our young scientists of Grades 3rd to 5th took a thrilling dive into the world of non-Newtonian fluids with a hands-on Oobleck experiment. By mixing cornstarch and water, they discovered how this fascinating substance behaves like a solid under pressure and flows like a liquid when gently handled.

Through observation, experimentation, and teamwork, our students developed their scientific inquiry skills, sparked their creativity, and honed their critical thinking. The excitement and curiosity ignited during this activity reflect the magic of science and the endless possibilities of learning. Let’s celebrate the joy of discovery and the boundless potential of our young scientists as they uncover the wonders of the world around them!
