The ICS Girls Residential School in Dehradun Prepares for Success! 

The Indian Cambridge School’s Director of Academics recently led a staff meeting to help teachers get ready for the new school session. The meeting began with a calming meditation session, encouraging teachers to adopt the adaptability and calmness of water. This was followed by an engaging animated presentation on teamwork and communication, emphasising that effective collaboration is crucial for success.

The director shared the inspirational story of how a monkey can also become a monk, highlighting the importance of letting go of personal conflicts and working together harmoniously. She also discussed the principles of the National Education Policy (NEP) and National Curriculum Framework (NCF), which stress the need to understand student behaviour, involve parents as key partners in education, and provide personalised support for students facing learning challenges.

Teachers engaged in professional development activities through a story called “The Jar of Life,” which encouraged them to prioritise their time effectively to balance work and personal life commitments. The workshop was instrumental in equipping teachers with valuable insights and strategies to guide their teaching journey.
