The ICS, Girls Residential School in Dehradun, Promotes SDGs! 

At The Indian Cambridge School, we understand the importance of educating our students about the United Nations’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These global goals are crucial for shaping a better future, and students need to comprehend and engage with them.

Understanding the SDGs equips our girls with the knowledge and skills to address global challenges, fostering a sense of responsibility and empowerment. 

In a follow-up to April’s competition, where we introduced 17 sustainable development goals, children were tasked with selecting one SDG they felt passionate about and showcasing that passion by decorating the class boards. The perfect way to present their ideas, showcasing their knowledge and understanding of these vital global issues. 

Judges evaluated the students based on the quality of their presentations and the depth of their knowledge about their selected goals. This activity aimed to deepen their engagement with global issues, empowering our girls to take meaningful action. 

At The Indian Cambridge School, we believe that true learning goes beyond the confines of the classroom. Our students do not just memorise facts—they harness their innate creativity to bring their ideas to life. We encourage self-expression and hands-on learning to help them think differently, solve problems, and discover their talents.
